You’re Beautiful – Our Little Adventure

The weekend here brought some beautiful weather – the warmth of spring, bright blue skies, birds singing and the Cheetah Keeper’s sister finishing her antibiotics and feeling better.  The infection, whatever it was, has left her a bit wobbly so we’re back on the physio and getting out and about to build her stamina up.  Her muscles start to waste after about 48 hours of infection or constant rest and take at least twice as long to come back as they do to go away.  She thinks she’s got endless energy, in fact we need to take it gently…

So on Saturday afternoon we went on ‘an adventure’.  We probably covered a mile and a bit – scooting the playground, having a quick play and then going ‘off road’ down the footpaths looking for signs of spring and other ‘stuff’.

We live in a City with a population in the region of 100,000 people.  Can you tell?  We’re so lucky that this is on our doorstep and I love the fact the children are fascinated by what’s around them.  We’re planning another ‘nadventcha’ soon.

This is my #yourebeautiful post for this week – looking for beautiful things in the world around us to help us all find a little positivity and take things just one day at a time.  What can you link up – words, pictures, photographs, creations, food, handbags, shoes…

  1. This is lovely. I love this warmer sunnier weather. We went to the beach. I might link that up 😉

  2. If I bring my wellies back at Easter can I join you on your ‘nadvendture’ too? xx

  3. Your photography is definitely coming on. They are beautiful photos. Tell Alice I love her glasses. Lilia will be jealous, she’s so desperate for some that she wanders around with 3d glasses on with the front panels removed.

Will see if I can quickly post a picture before I’m back at school for SALT x
