Cheetahs In My Shoes

living with the imaginary menagerie and all that it entails

The Gallery – Friends

Make new friends, but keep the old,

One is silver, and the other gold

I’m not sure how my friends, the long standing, love them for ever, through thick, thin, gin, cake, highs, lows, trauma, delight and everything else friends would feel about me posting pictures of them on here.  So I’m not going to – I love them too much.

At the moment, my children are the best of friends – they are happiest together, snuggled into the smallest possible space, out and about holding hands, sharing a chair at the computer and, so I’m told, they play together in the playground at school.  So here they are, my little friends – long may it last.

  1. It is lovely when they are good friends. It goes in phases with us, but we are also on the ascent at the moemnt so it’s all good

  2. So nice that we have our kids for friends…however long it may last before they are throwing teenage strops and can’t stand the sight of us…and vice versa!

  3. such a beautiful post, lovely photos! 🙂 x

  4. That’s lovely, I hope they do stay friends like that, always tough in those teenage years but makes such a difference when you are older

  7. That is delightful. I hope mine all become the best of friends – to be fair they are pretty nice to each other most of the time. x

  8. Hope they stay friends. It’s really good when you have siblings that you’re close to. Feel my son misses out in some ways being an only child.

Thank you for your comments! The Cheetahs and I really appreciate them.
